Teaching Philosophy
As a Suzuki-trained teacher, I believe that anyone can learn an instrument! I create a fun learning environment, while giving helpful critiques and instruction. My role is to guide, correct and encourage my students to become the best musicians and people they can be. Benefits of Learning an Instrument
Applying oneself to a musical instrument is an exercise in self-discipline. A student develops respect, hard work, goal acquisition and focus. This skillset will be useful throughout their life. Additionally, music engages both the logical and creative sides of the brain. This can be especially helpful in early development, and in fine motor skills. |
